I am a Certified Professional Midwife with ten years experience. I began birth work as a doula, then trained as an apprentice for three years in Santa Fe, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. I am also a mother, wife and writer.
My care focuses on post partum issues such as post partum mother care, new baby care, family life adjustments, breastfeeding challenges, counseling, healing birth trauma, parenting complexities, and post partum depression. I have a holistic approach, and consider the post partum time to be a sacred, important time in a family's life that needs special attention and compassionate care.
I love serving women, and encourage bonding with their baby in a way that fits the mother's needs as well. I enjoy listening to women's stories, helping them normalize their experience, and supporting a healthy life style for the family.
